A prominent verified fan page of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ shared a video on Instagram. In the video, Jethalal (played by Dilip Joshi) informs his son Tapu that Dayaben is set to return from Ahmedabad on the occasion of Diwali. Jethalal reveals that Sundar, Daya’s on-screen brother, has announced his intention to bring her back home.
However, the video faced criticism from netizens who felt deceived and desperate after it went viral. Some even threatened to stop watching the show if producer Asit Kumar Modi failed to bring Dayaben back.
